Mapping Data: Shonghagtoh Mondir The Digital Shrine
Considering our current state of constant surveillance and the rise of algorithms, the Internet monitors, collects, and influences data about its users. This leads way to two things: 1. A virtual avatar that is created from highly effective artificial intelligence, 2. The intergenerational exchange of this memory and how this avatar will exist independent to us, even after we have passed. The project proposes a digital shrine title Shonghagtoh Mondir to allow collective forms of organizing the information the internet gathers on us communally. I was responsible for creating the illustrations, graphic layout and typography of this research booklet that culminated the research for my design proposal for the Royal College of Art.
